From the coast the A52 west and the A16 south are simply the price of the view. Skegness has the longest reach to Heathrow of any town we cover, and the earliest starts to match.

From Skegness the A52 runs west through Boston toward Grantham and the A1, while the A158 heads inland to Horncastle and Lincoln, where it meets the A46 and A15 for the routes onward.
Of all the towns we cover, Skegness has the longest reach to any airport, because the coast is where the fast roads end rather than begin. That is the whole case for a pre-booked chauffeur here. You are collected at the door on the coast in an executive car and the long inland drive is ours to manage, while you sit back rather than tackle the A52 in the dark.
The closest airport, East Midlands, along with Birmingham and Manchester, is reached west on the A52 through Boston toward Grantham, the A1 and the motorway network. The long southern airports, Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton, follow the same road to the A1 and then head south. From the coast, Heathrow is a proper journey, run as one unbroken drive rather than broken up. Newcastle, for a North Sea ferry or cruise, is a long haul north up the A1 to the Tyne.
Because the drive out is long, the pickup time is set with real margin. A single carriageway A-road at dawn can be held up by anything from farm traffic to seasonal coaches, and your chauffeur would rather leave the coast early and arrive settled than shave the timing and hope. This is a resort town, so we are used to holiday flight patterns as well as business travel.
Skegness runs together with Winthorpe, Seacroft and the resorts up the coast at Ingoldmells and Chapel St Leonards, and inland toward Burgh le Marsh, Croft and Wainfleet.
