Credentials and trust: licensed, DBS-checked and Guild-accredited
Lincolnshire Chauffeur Services is a member of the British Chauffeurs Guild, holding permit 2722CT. It is licensed by Boston Borough Council, which issues the private-hire car and driver licences the business works under, and it is VAT registered, so trips can be invoiced properly for business travel.
Every driver holds a current DBS check, renewed every three years when the private-hire licence is renewed, along with the medical the licence requires. The cars are a Mercedes-Benz E-Class saloon and an E-Class estate, each seating up to four, and both are inspected every six months, twice as often as the annual MOT the law asks for. A car that sets off for an airport at four in the morning has to be right.
Being owner-run matters here. Bart owns and runs the business, takes the bookings and drives many of the journeys himself. When more than one is running at once he is joined by a second driver he has worked with for years, and at the busiest times by trusted chauffeurs held to the same standard. Whoever is at the wheel, you have booked with one business and dealt with one person, and there is no call centre passing you between departments.
