Lincoln to Heathrow: the road we actually take.

From Lincoln the A46 runs south west to Newark and the A1 for the long southern runs, the A15 heads south toward Sleaford and Peterborough and north toward Scunthorpe and the Humber Bridge, and the A46 also gives a clean line toward Leicester, the East Midlands and the M1.
Lincoln is a city built on a hill, and getting out of it cleanly is half the job on a flight morning.
